Lyndsay is a Registered Acupuncturist and Certified Yoga instructor. Earning her Diploma of Acupuncture from Pacific Rim College in 2017.
Prior to graduating from the 3 year Acupuncture program at Pacific Rim College, Lyndsay was working as an outdoor guide for many years. This was very rewarding work and very taxing on the body. She found that the best way to help out with the aches and pains was thru the movement of yoga and help from her acupuncturist. Noting that after treatments she not only felt better physically but calmer and clearer too. Eventually focusing on wellness and wanting to help others, she decided to make the leap and go study Acupuncture.
Lyndsay believes in weaving the whole lifestyle with the treatments she provides.
She incorporates dietary therapy, lifestyle changes and movement into her treatment plans. Helping people to continue improving their health at home.
Lyndsay has a special interest in the digestive system, mental health and injury recovery using Traditional Chinese Medicine. She understands that using all of the modalities of Chinese Medicine including cupping, moxabustion, gua sha and Chinese Massage can be integral to some of her clients needs.
Lyndsay wants acupuncture to be accessible for everyone and in the future hopes to include affordable Community Acupuncture.

Elena believes in people’s innate capacity to grow and heal. Alongside traditional talk therapy, Elena works from a somatic framework exploring the mind-body connection as it relates to a person’s hopes for therapy. If a client is interested, a counselling session may involve exploration through expressive avenues such as movement, writing, drawing and other forms of expressive arts.
Elena holds a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Adler University in Vancouver and is registered with the British Columbia Association for Clinical Counsellors. She is also a yoga practitioner and certified yoga teacher. Prior to pursuing a career as a counsellor, Elena worked in the field of Adventure Therapy providing outdoor experiences to people facing significant life challenges. Connecting to nature is a large part of Elena’s personal and professional philosophies.
Elena recently moved to the beautiful West Coast of Vancouver Island and is excited to work, live, and play on the Unceded Territory of the Nuu-Chah-Nulth people. She loves spending time exploring outdoors, cozying up at home, and she seems to be perpetually learning how to surf! She loves the work that she does and is deeply honored to work with people as they explore new aspects of their lives.
Living our authentic truth and the powerful ability to heal is with in us. Melissa discovered massage and mantra on a solo travel adventure in 2007. Her first ever healing session, an experience on the ocean’s edge that would change her path forever. She knew after that experience she wanted to hold space for others to connect with their body, breath and nature.
A graduate of The Vancouver School of Bodywork and Massage in 2008. Melissa has studied many powerful and effective healing modalities from Eastern, Western and Island cultures. A practitioner of Deep Flow. This modality offers her clients deep bodywork, alignment and a mindful, intentional session. Some of the other modalities Melissa offers include Hot Stone Therapy, Lomi Lomi, Reflexology, Deep Tissue/Joint Release Therapy, Thai Stem Massage and Ayurvedic/Marma Massage.
Through her own desire to bring balance to her mind, body and soul connection, Melissa has spent the last decade here in Ucluelet as well as travelling and cultivating the lifestyle she truly loves. In balance with nature. Thriving in remote places, Melissa would like to share the importance of our connection to our natural world. Wellness, bodywork and principals that bring balance to our whole life. Re-surfacing our true nature.
Jill grew up in the beautiful mountains in Pemberton B.C., always having a deep connection with nature and the calm that it offers.
Intrigued with sport, and fitness at a young age, Jill received an associates degree in Physical Education. This later led her to complete a 2000hr diploma in Shiatsu Therapy, graduating in 2004. Shiatsu is Japanese technique using mostly thumb and elbow pressure and she sure is one of the best!
“The essence of Shiatsu is diagnosis and therapy combined.”
Her treatments are balanced, systematic, gentle and functionally deep. Jill uses a range of techniques including Shiatsu Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Swedish Massage, Cupping and Passive Stretching. Jill is happy to work with you to better understand and treat your condition, providing support and self-care ideas at the end of each session.

Registered Massage Therapy

Whether you are recovering from an injury, dealing with an area of persistant pain, or seeking a space to let your nervous system settle, Sara is glad to be a part of your journey.
Through her own experience with massage, she knows how impactful a treatment can be, not only for our body, but for our overall well being. Sara’s intention is to always be curious and adaptable in her approach, and to find the treatment that bests suits you. The question that guides her in practice is
“how can I best support the person who has shown up in my treatment room today?”.
Included in this is the recognition that needs and goals may change from treatment to treatment.
The human body is wonderfully complex and incredibly resilient, and we are learning more and more about the impacts of massage therapy on it each year. Her practice is informed by current research around pain science and nervous system regulation and she is incredibly passionate about educating herself regarding these topics.
Sara’s hope is that this space can be a place to learn that our bodies are not something that need to be “fixed”, but rather **supported** and that you leave The Wellness Collective feeling validated and empowered.
